Welcome to my kitchen. Much like my professional kitchen at Vanderlyle Restaurant in Cambridge, this is an open space: welcoming, calming and friendly, a space to feel at home, even if only for a few short moments.

Here is where I write, a place for the thoughts that pepper my brain during my waking hours. Often they are about food, and the business of cooking for a living. Sometimes they are not. Often they will be crafted with the same intricacy of one of the restaurant’s dishes. Sometimes they will not. Don’t let that put you off: even a hastily made slice of toast is tasty and nourishing at the right moment.
